ii don't think the neck goes with the body. as you can see the scale length has been altered from roughly 25"? to 24"? note the fill in the fretboard from old fret position and of course the multiple dots.

According to Mr Brozman's book- the logo on the eadstock is a 36-38 Style O- albeit the shape of the headstock itself doesn't match.... 

The body is that of a 36-38 Style O as well it would seem.

Is there a serial number somewhere?

you are correct, actually bob was kind enough to respond, he's vary gracious, especially considering how busy he is. but he felt, and i agree, that some one had "lifted" the original logo and placed it the headstock of the current neck that is on the guitar. the neck is definately not original. probably not even national.

Thats what I was wondering- with the stock being the wrong shape, someone has probably added a neck to a Style O body tha had a broken or damaged one, and then moved the decal over to make it look authentic.
