Hi all,
I recently completed a new book, "The Memphis Blues Guitar of Furry Lewis" for Stefan Grossman, and apropos of that will be offering a "Meet The Author" session on Zoom this coming Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM PST (6:00 PM in the UK). The meeting will be a half-hour long and free, and I will be discussing and demonstrating Furry's guitar style, talking about his picking, characteristics of his playing, an in-depth look at his playing in EAEGBE tuning and a look at his picking on his slide numbers. Attendees will not be visible, and please mute your microphone if you attend; there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting via the chat or "reaction" function.
