Take This Hammer
« on: May 18, 2004, 04:49:12 PM »
I've sung this song to my daughter since she was a baby - used to sing it in the car to keep her from crying.  At this point I've probably sung it at least ten thousand times!  Couldn't forget it if I tried...

And in case you're wondering, I have no idea why I'm so attracted to songs with the word 'take' in the title when it comes to the 12 string.

That's great! Most excellent performances from the kiddies. Not bad on Dad's part, too.

Glad to hear you're having fun with the 12. It sounds very cool.

Hi Frank,
Well, after all my complaining about 12-strings, this sounds pretty darn good, as does "Take Me Back".  I love that straight-up-and-down time on this, and the back-up singers are pretty hard to beat!
All best,
Johnm
