Papa Charlie Jacksons Guitjo
« on: October 29, 2007, 12:37:18 AM »
Im no musician, but recently I've been really interested to know some background about the Guitjo Papa Charlie Jackson played. It looks like no other banjo/Guitjo I've ever seen, it would be apretiated if anyone had any info about it :)

From the picture im thinking that he was either very very small or had quite a big guitjo.

Looks like a "snakehead" Gibson to me.

It's a Gibson GB-4 -- do a Google search and you'll find decent photos of them.
