Unveiling our new washboard player who I just met on this night, last Friday, his name, Washboard Pete Donohue.
I met a woman she was a pigmeat some
Big fat mouth, I followed her home
She pulled a gun and broke my jaw
Didnt leave me hard on, I didnt get sore

Peter Healy - backing vocal, harmonica
Greg Luland aka Arthur Blake - Guitar and Vocal
Washboard Pete Donohue - playing my washboard
Pete Donohue is also an expert on playing the spoons and other percussion instruments but this was just his third time on a washboard he says. I have been looking for someone who could play washboard for years and finally found one and we are looking forward to playing more Piedmont and raggy blues for local Australian blues fans and I hope you fellow Weenies will enjoy this, I hope for more posts of similar ilk. Salty Dog is a tune that remains close to my heart as it was the first video I ever uploaded to Weenie Campbell a year ago on "The Back Porch", this was a professional gig so  I posted here this time.

Yup! Pete works a treat :)

I can't imagine anyone leaving the pub til it's dry.

Yeah we had a ball, only played with one other guy that was on washboard and it's my favourite percussion instrument
