Thanks for the link, eric. I missed it when you first posted it. Like Harriet say, it's a great read. It sounds like he has some great mentors and is open to following the sound advice of others. He has a bright future, IMHO.

For anyone who hasn't seen it here's a taste of Christone with interviews and some great live playing. The way he piles into the lead solos sends shivers up my spine, total commitment. The video was produced by Fender and promotes his signature purple Telecaster. It sounds and looks a million bucks.

He's a huge man, and I'm a huge fan.

You can easily call this kid a prodigy. But it's just too much rock for my taste.

I'm pretty sure this guy could play BB, Albert, Freddy, Otis, Muddy, Howlin', whatever you want to hear. He's just trying to get it straight for 2022

Consecutive nights at the jooks in the heart of the Mississippi Delta will do that to you. I'm just guessing though, nobody ever asked me.

He's a highly skilled guitarist for sure, but I certainly don't like his rock style of playing

Jontavious Willis is roughly the same age. He clowns around a bit here but he sure can play.
Jontavious and Kingfish both playing the blues but it sounds like there're coming from separate galaxies.
