RobBob -

What  you have is probably the 3-CD package issued by Evidence Records back in the day. That's merely the iceberg's tip compared to the Bellaphon CDs. If you like what you have, then go for the full monty - also the George Mitchell Collection will be useful if you lack them! You lack a whole shitload of great stuff that Axel and Siggi recorded back in 1980 (my final year "in the field").

Yep.  I created a playlist with all 12 volumes.  Really good series.

Which reminds me, that Bellaphon Records have started to put them out on YouTube as well, a much welcome decision on their part.

So far you can find the "Introduction To..." record:

Volume 1:

Vol.2:

and Vol. 3:

I'm not sure if viewers outside Germany can see these, if not, please comment.

Let's hope they will eventually upload all of these great recordings!

Cheers,

Pan

Playing just fine in New Zealand. Many thanks. Lotta good stuff in this series, and I didn't get 'em all. Hope they get to more Boyd Rivers -- powerful  down-home gospel singer (and the scariest interview I ever did).
