Hokum Hotshots head south
« on: September 05, 2008, 06:35:48 AM »
If any UK Weenies fancy some great acoustic blues, there is a rare opportunity to catch NE-based duo, the Hokum Hotshots at Rye Arts Festival on Wednesday 24 September.  The gig is at 8pm at Rye Community Centre and there should be tickets available on the door.

Check out this excellent duo at: www.hokumhotshots.co.uk

They intersperse fine singing and playing on a collection of great instruments (guitars, tiple, mandolin...) with a smattering of natural humour, purveying what they call "Blues with a smile on its face".

Make yourself known if you attend.  Yours truly will be introducing the act.
"I ain't good looking, teeth don't shine like pearls,
So glad good looks don't take you through this world."
