We knows nothing much about the blues... we called it blues, we called it breakdowns, we called it blues and some people say it's square dances... We didn't know what it was; the achin'-hearted blues is slow, breakdowns is fast - Percy Thomas, who played in the Son Simms Four with Muddy Waters, interviewed by Paul Oliver, from Blues Off The Record
Thought you might be interested in these. These were taken from a nice acoustic session at this years Dundee Blues Bonanza. Here we have me performing a Son House song.
Jim Murray performing a Blind Lemon Jefferson number.
Graham robinson and Snakehips O'Donnell perfroming some Blind Boy Fuller tomfoolery!
If any of the performnaces seem a little rough, please bear in mind the hangovers that were being endured by all involved!

Now in its 13th year, the Dundee Blues Bonanza is an "all live - all free" blues festival held over three days in thirty plus venues throughout the city. Bands playing at the Bonanza come from all over Europe and the USA to play at this major festival of music.
Here's a few more. Fans of McTell might like these! (The 12 string guitar is a Ralph Bown Stella by the way, it's an awesome sounding guitar!) These are from; Snakehips O'Donnell, Jim Murray and Alan Jones.
