Topic: Olympia Old Time Festival 2/17-2/20

  The third annual Olympia Old Time Music Festival takes place February 17th through the 20th.  I haven't been before, but I will be attending this year and teaching a beginners finger-picking guitar workshop.

At the risk of having a "duh" moment, what is Rule #1?

It is a joke.  Rule number 1 is "No fun allowed."   It is poking fun at certain typed of people who either don't like to have fun or don't want you to have fun.

I guess they're trying to give the same idea as H.L. Mencken's definition of Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.
