This might be a question for Mr. Cambio, but others feel free to contribute:
What are the best bridge pins to use for 1920's era OS 12 strings? The instrument in question is grand concert sized, more or less. I have to buy a set of 12, and am wondering if bone is a good choice, the traditional ebony, or perhaps there's some other material that works best.
Or perhaps it makes little difference, but as brass and other materials are touted for 6 strings in certain applications, I thought it might be worth asking.
Thanks!

In case anybody's interested, Neil Harpe says that there's absolutely no detectable difference between any of those materials. After some experimentation yesterday, I'm inclined to agree.
