Way, way cool, Chezz! Keep up the exemplary lifestyle!
Say "Hey" to Taizz for me. See you both soon. We'll make some music then! Wax Well done, Steve. As a long time biker--and walker--I can relate. What this world needs is more "carfreeism." Hopefully it will spread.
Thanks Harriet and Stuart.
And yes, carfree has been humans' normal state for most of their long existence. Let's end this temporary car sickness! I just saw this review of Two Wheels Good - The History and Mystery of the Bicycle By Jody Rosen in the NY Times:
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/27/books/review/two-wheels-good-jody-rosen.html I haven't read it yet, but it looks interesting. If you can't access the NYT review, I'm sure there are others. As an aside, I caught a typo I made in my earlier post where I wrote "Carefree" for "Carfree." Freudian slip? "Many a truth..."? Or perhaps a slogan: "Carfree Is Carefree" YMMV (And hopefully your mileage is on a bike) eric
Chezz, several years ago using Blues Traveling as guidebook, I took my old pal of many years and cousin from the UK on a road trip from Memphis through the Delta. Had a great time, heard some great music and ate some great BBQ. Thanks for the recommendations!
