Bad Luck Blues cover

Well, Frankie B. has already made a pretty definitive cover of this Lemon Jefferson, but I thought I give it a shot anyway....  Surprisingly hard to play & fun to sing.

Yeah, Peter, that sounds damn nice. I agree, it's a bit tricky to play and fun to sing. I don't quite measure up to you and Frankie on this, but do have a great time playing it for my dog.

Nice work!

This is indeed a difficult song to play and sing together, but you do a great job and sound completely at ease.

Cheers

One of my favorite Blind Lemon songs! That's a cool version.

Hi Harry-

I was a professional performer for many years.  Since starting a family, I've moved back to amateur status (per great Beethovian Artur Schnabel, that is a musican's highest calling! :-)) and am finding the time and focus to go back and try to really learn some of the tunes I've admired for so long.  It's great fun and quite gratifying.  The ability to share things (and enjoy other's work) by way of YouTube, etc. is entirely game-changing.  Feels like this is all genuinely "folk" music again (a feeling I'd quite lost while in the "business").

thanks-
Peter
