I really like this song but I'm having trouble figuring it out
I know there's an A chord but that's pretty much it I need help

Hi there.

You're right he plays from A-position, but he's tuned all the way down to C#, so it sounds like he's playing in the key of F#.
You have a "long A" chord, 0-0-2-2-2-5, which is slid in from the 1st fret of the 2nd string.
The IV chord is a D, which is also slid in from the 1st fret from the 1st string X-X-0-2-3-2. Then he goes up to the Vth position for a D7,  X-X-0-X-7-5, and adds a high C note on the 8th fret on the 1st string, if I'm not mistaken.
