Ray Price's "Crazy Arms" is one of my favorite songs. This session musician made it sound the way it does. He also played on a long list of other pop tunes that we're all familiar with.

Good comparison. I'll share one more link, this article lists many of the groups and solo performers who hired Wade to take part in their sessions. It is a *very* impressive list.
