Buick 6 - free gig in Rye Arts Festival
« on: September 02, 2009, 07:26:25 AM »
Further to my post in "Other musical interests" about Justin Adams & Juldeh Camara, here's a quick plug for the mighty Buick 6, who will be playing at the William the Conqueror pub in Rye Harbour at 3:30 pm on Sunday 13 September. It's free to get in and you will see one of the finest blues bands on the planet (says he without a hint of bias). Seriously folks, it's not just Roger Hubbard and any old rhythm section. He is joined by the excellent Colin Gibson on bass and Liam Genockey on drums and the chemistry between the three of them is almost tangible.

It would be nice to see a few British Weenies there.  Ask for Parlor Picker and nobody will have a clue what you're talking about (mmm.... could be a problem .... oh well....).
