This was mentioned once before on the forums and they weren't identified, now that there's a video on dailymotion so people can at least enjoy it:

I'd guess that they're actors rather than musicians who recorded if only because there was no blues recording on the West Coast before the war. The guitarist could well be Willie Best and the drummer looks familiar possibly one of the Nicholas brothers.

Cool! It looks like they're really playing, so if they're actors, they are also skilled musicians.
