Hi Roi, how are you? Very difficult song to sing I believe as Patton is one of the best singers IMO and to cover his singing is impossible... But I heard his influence on your guitar on a song you posted a few days ago which was very good.

Even though as always I liked your version.

Blind Willie would have killed me if he heard it, but hopefully you'll like it...

Its certainly overcovered- and worse still, over jammed at many events.  I hate this song...

BUT!!!!

What a great version- fresh, funky and very enjoyable indeed- nice one.  A real Honeyboy / Belfour / Hopkins type feel to it.  You make a lot out of a simple structure and song. :D

Hey Wolf:

I like this song, and your version is great. Still a little bit sloppy, you might benefit with one gauge thicker strings on the guitar, they sound a bit slack.

One other point, I couldn't make out some of the words in parts. It my not be necessary to slur your vocal delivery quite so much.

But I've listend to it three times so far, so I like it. And your single string work in a solo acoustic format is top hole.

Goin' for four,
Alex

Thanks guys! Much appreciated.  Thanks Alex for the suggestions!

By the way, a second after I finished that recording, one of the strings broke. I was lucky.

Nice version Roy, like the electric, Lemon would have played one too if he were alive ;)
Your vocals are improving but you should try to use a bit more dynamics like : Jack of dIIIamonds is a hAAArd card to play, well, you kinda know what I mean.
Cheers,
Carl
