To those who only know Ron Phillips from his recently posted advert in our header,

I roomed in the same house as Ron at PT (for the second year) and I had a chance to discuss at length his long process of experimentation to try to achieve the sound of the vintage resonator guitars and his current move to go full time as a resonator builder I also heard and played several of his guitars and they are definitely world class, IMHO. I just want to wish him luck in making this leap of faith.
