Hey folks, Steve James will be visiting New York this week. He will host a blues mandolin workshop on July 17, 2008, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $65 and attendance will be limited to a dozen students. Steve tells me he's worked out a "real open tuning for mando" and is playing some slide mandolin these days. Eager to see what he's cooked up.
