I said to the station man, "Where's my train?" He said "I never knowed you owned a train". I said "You better answer or I'll smack you down". He said "All trains goin' to Memphis Town" - Memphis Town, Leroy Carr, 1930

Avery Brady

Hi all,
I recently found a cut, "Poor Kennedy", by a musician named Avery Brady, and posted it in the Miller's Breakdown thread.  I found the piece and performance really striking, and was somewhat frustrated in being able to find no kind of background information on Avery Brady.  I found the following interview with him on youtube yesterday.  I'll post it here.  I don't know who the interviewer was, there is no indication of that on the video, but from the title of the video, it seems likely he was Swedish.  EDITED TO ADD:  The interviewer was evidently named Ole Helander.  I'm afraid this video will not be viewable by non-U.S. Weenies, but here it is:

All best,
Johnm
