We've added a new board.  I think the description is self explanatory, but if you have questions - ask!

Other Musical Interests

While the focus of WeenieCampbell is and will always be Country Blues, we recognize that members have other musical interests as well. This board is dedicated to those other musical interests. Some of the styles of music that have been mentioned by members in the past are: Jazz, Jump Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Western Swing, Old Time, Gospel. What are your other musical interests?

I like this new board and hope to post more later.  Many of the women singers that I listen to from the 20's and 30's are on the fringes I think of country blues and fall more into a jazz or a vaudevillian (is there such a word?) style.  An example that comes to mind is Sophie Tucker. Look forward to seeing how this area develops.
