Garrison Parlour Acoustic Guitar
« on: February 28, 2015, 01:35:18 PM »
Anybody heard of this make?  Any players out there like to share their experience? I know they are Canadian, were bought over by Gibson and are known for their revolutionary one piece bracing system. But are they reliable and how do they sound?

One being sold locally:

You got most of it down.  Gibson initially had their Song Maker guitars made at the Garrison Factory.

Garrison guitars, of course, were only around about 6 or 7 years before Gibson bought them out.  Pre-Gibson Garrisons though seem to have a cult following and do get a good amount of respect.  Folks I know who have had experience with the guitars though would sometimes complain about things like poorly dressed frets.
