After years of consideration I've come to the conclusion that, within limits, gear is more important as a topic of conversation than as a way of making music. It's just not that important - Chris Smither

Freshly Recorded Song
« on: November 10, 2004, 10:27:09 AM »
I recorded a song yesterday that I wrote for a movie scene.  It is very short as it was written for just that scene ( a poignant scene where someone is looking at old pictures of family/friends)  It is kind of a Robert Balfour / Mississppi Hill Country kind of song. It is recorded live and I am playing an old 50's Harmony Monterey that I bought from a pawn shop years ago.  It was broken in two and glued back together but I love the sound on it.  Just go to http://www.broadjam.com/artists/artistindex.asp?artistID=13621 and click on Don't Forget About Me.

Sorry that I did not load this song but it was too big so I am just providing the above link.  I hope that is okay.
