Bebop? Avant-garde? Yeah, I heard of them. I also heard of these kids called the Bright Brothers? Wright Brothers? Who claim they can make you fly. It'll never catch on, none of it - Art Hodes

Hardshell case backpack type harness
« on: October 06, 2013, 03:22:01 PM »
I've seen these here and there on the web, a German company called GEWA seemed to have one at some point but now, not. Anyone know where I can get one of these things? I've had one of the most fruitless and frustrating internet searches. With this thing. Maybe I'll make my own...grumble, grumble.....

I have the GEWA harness. Use it mostly for transporting Nationals, sometimes in Calton cases, on the BMW motor bike. It works just fine, even at unreasonable speeds...!

Mr. O'Muck,
Yes, I've used it the past two years at Augusta Blues camp.  I have nothing to compare it to, I'm happy with it.

Thanks Gary, I ordered one last night. Shlepping my guitar around New York to give lessons has become a chore for my healed but tricky rotator cuff. I'm hoping this will make it easier. Its amazing how much heavier the weightless dreadnaught I carried with impunity at sixteen has become in my sixties. :-\
