Bury it?  Really, Phil - how could you say such a thing about a b - a - n - j - o (there - I said it!) ?

I say burn it first and then bury the ashes to make sure.

I might produce it, after all I expect we will need a spitoon (if some of us are performing...  ) and it does have it's own handle after all 

Could put the ashes out to sea I suppose..
