Roy Book Binder in Rye (UK)
« on: September 13, 2007, 02:45:45 AM »
If there are any UK Weenies who will be in South East England this coming Saturday, 15 September, Roy Book Binder is playing in Rye, East Sussex (near Hastings on the south coast).  He is giving a guitar workshop at 2 pm and plays a concert in the evening at about 8 pm.  The venue for both events is Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill.

More info: www.ryeartsfestival.co.uk - Bookings on 01797 224442 during Box Office opening hours (they close at 2 pm, so you need to book in the morning - can't be helped as the whole Festival is run by volunteers).

If any Weenies come to see the Book, make yourself known to me.  Just ask for Parlor Picker and nobody will have a clue what you're talking about ...  ;D (actually I'll be fairly easy to find at the event).

That's clear, Richard, because you obviously missed me.  I didn't notice any landings from Guernsey on my private helicopter pad either...

Anyways, you missed a mighty fine gig.  Roy was in great form and delighted a packed hall with his picking, singing and excellent comedy timing.
