Nice.  I used to play this one, years (decades) back, although I never figured out all the words- let alone the exact chord structure.  Impressed with what you did there. Now I'm old and a bit arthritic, I won't be trying again, sadly.

I heard it on Yazoo's 'Mr Charlie's Blues' from Dick Justice - I think - is that also your source, Sixstring?  Or did Dick get from elsewhere?

Thanks for the comment, Steve W.  My influences were the original composer, Luke Jordan, but also Dick Justice's version and that of The Village Fugs.  I picked the words from whichever version made the most sense to me.
