Thanks John, the quality of Sleepy John Estes' voice is so integral to his songs that I feel compelled to try to bring the vocals closer to his sound.

Phil, the vocal is great!  Definitely hit the Sleepy John Estes vibe!  Love the discordant chord as well!

Well done, Phil. You nailed the vocal to the point that I think that it should be moved front and center. I think more Sleepy John is in order. Little Laura, Lawyer Clark, Liquor Store...and that's just a few that start with "L."

Excellent - and true to the spirit of Sleepy John. All you need now is a capo made out of a pencil and a rubber band... and maybe a mandolin player in the background.
