Unreleased blues recordings from the 50's
« on: February 10, 2008, 11:03:48 AM »
I believe this hasn't been mentioned here yet?

British jazzman and concert promotor Chris Barber is presenting previously unreleased U.K live recordings of American blues artists.

The recordings are from 1957 and 1958 and include, among others, performances by Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Muddy Waters and Otis Spann, and Sonny Boy Williamson.

Strange indeed. Hopefully they will fix it. Meanwhile you can read about it here: http://www.chrisbarber.net/ . Note that they have some old tour programs to be seen too.
