DON'T copy the voice... you take away all your identity. All of it. Just sing in your own voice and the music will fall into place - Jerry Ricks, Port Townsend 97

Beirut & Final Fantasy

I've been listening to these two alot recently, Beirut is a band which plays what is described as "Indie Folk" though definatly a great step away from what would be classed as "Indie", they are actually really good, mostly accoustic instruments (and no guitars aparently). Alot of the music is derived from european folk music and is well worth a listen.

Final Fantasy is the solo career of Owen Pallet who plays the violin aswell as the mandolin, has some very beautiful pieces of music.
