He [Ted Bogan] was playing with picks that you put on your fingers and I didn't like that as an accompaniment, so I made him throw them away and I told him I would play the lead and he would play the accompaniment - Carl Martin on hooking up with Ted Bogan (Blues & Rhythm #218 Stompin' In Knox County)

I'd be packing my bags already if I could make it this year but that ain't gonna happen. Wife thinks we need to spend money on more sensible things. What can be more sensible than getting rid of me for a week.

All kidding aside I hope all of you Weenies have a great time and I look forward to reading all about it.
