Recently received as a gift the double LP "Play It Like You Did Back To George St./Anthology of Cincinnati Blues 1924-1936

Haven't had time to listen thru yet and don't know much about it. Does anyone know anything about the recording and/or the artists on it? :-\

What you want to do is find a copy of Steven C. Tracy's Going To Cincinnati: A History Of The Blues In The Queen City.  Buy it if you can find a copy for sale, get it from a library via interlibrary loan if you can't find a copy to buy.  The first hundred pages or so cover the artists on your LP in depth.  I highly recommend it.

Go to http://www.bookfinder.com/ and plug in the author / title. There are a bunch of used paperback copies available for around $10 including S&H.
