So what do you guys think so far?  ???

It will help me on the edits of the next hours of video that we are gathering to assemble in to a history of MS Delta Blues for all to be able to share with you guys.
You can help me focus on topics and facts that you guys want captured for eternity from Mr Wardlow, he is an endless supply of information and loves to share his story with others .. ...
And this is our chance to preserve history... Please take part...

I didn't realise you were still in the middle of making these.
I've been enjoying them ... my thanks to both of you. That bit about Patton's grave was interesting!

It's all fascinating.  Was Mr. Wardlow involved in the search for King Solomon Hill?

Yes, published in the very final issue of Blues Unlimited (April 1988, pps 8-12) One Last Walk Up King Solomon Hill. The jokey title sounds like something dreamt up by one of the editors, they were prone to such. I'd happily stand corrected though.

One of the illustrations is a letter concerning the KSH Community and the KSH Baptist Church. This is in response to a 1986 query from Gayle to E.B. Wall rural mail carrier of Sibley, La post office. Interestingly Mr Wall is writing on paper the masthead of which reads Bayou Inn Restaurant, Inc.

Perhaps Gayle has made this article available elsewhere.

The Prologue of "Chasing That Devils Music" contains a few pages on King Solomon...
Pages 2-8, I believe it is...

I'm on the other side of the Atlantic from my library, so I can't confirm this, but doesn't "One Last Walk Up King Solomon Hill appear as the last essay in Chasin' That Devil's Music?

You are correct, dj. It's the last essay in the book.

Thanks!
Ill ask Gayle Dean to tell us about it very soon and I'll get it posted...

We have a few "visual" Ideas about the next few sets of Interviews to use i.e. the actual documents, records, photos, etc while discussing the Delta Blues......
and Ill see if he can add the "King Solomon" stories...
