I have a gig at the Oval in Croydon on Thursday 6th September, 8.00pm if any of the London contingent fancies coming down to support a fellow Weenie. I'll be playing 3 sets of country blues supported by the great Pete Nash on piano. Phil

Can't seem to get a flight, Phil, but have a great show. Congrats! All for now. John C.

Have a nice one, Phil! I'll be in Switzerland that night - not that I'd venture up to Sarf Lunnon, anyway, as you well know. See you at the Book Binder gig.

Played the gig which went very well, 3 sets amounting to over 2 hours playing. We did the 1st set solo, second as piano/guitar and the 3rd with drums/piano/electric(!) guitar(actually a 1950 Silvertone with a pickup puttyed on). Really good crowd apart from the inevitable heckler who was silenced by the audience when we decided to take the volume down abit.
