Mr.O'Muck's Soundclick offerings
« on: January 18, 2008, 09:03:28 AM »
Greetings I have, in conjunction with insomnia productions, just posted several songs on soundclick, that fascinatingly unintuitive cyber posting service, for up and coming or in my case down and going musicians.
There is my version of Gary Davis' "Twelve Sticks" or "The Boy was Kissing the Girl and Playing the Guitar at the Same Time"  followed by a stanza of Libba cotten's Graduation March which I have titled "Twelve Sticky Graduation Marches". Then there is the uproarious hilarity of "Rabid Rodent Ramble" an instrumental based on two Gary Davis pieces, "Buck Dance" and "Fast Fox Trot". I give my reading of RGDs' powerful "OH Lord Search My Heart", and a four track attempt at a combination Arthur Crudup and Smoky Babe amalgam called"Gone Train Blues". Hope you enjoy them and I welcome your feedback (other than suggestions of giving up entirely to become a shoe salesman..I'm not a shoe salesman by the way. Not that there's anything wrong with being a shoe salesman, I just happen not to have taken that particular career path. I mean people need shoes right? So I hope I haven't insulted any shoe salesmen out there. I mean you could be a shoe sales man by day and be working on cold fusion at night right? Come to think of it my job is probably much worse than selling shoes...hmmm I wonder what they make?

Wow and WOW.
Judging from these four offerings, you'd be one heck of a great shoe salesman if you put any effort toward it. Albeit ...if other posts werewith are any indication.....(really bad cross-forum humor attempt alert).... one leaning much more heavily on the left foot than the right.
Cheers,
Gary
