Today would have been Pete's 100th birthday, and I'm pretty sure a whole lot of us wouldn't be playing and listening to the music we so love if it weren't for Pete. So happy birthday and thanks for all of it, Pete. You did everything you could to make the world a better place.

Amen. Public radio affiliate WAMC ran a long recorded interview, actually more of a stream of consciousness, with Pete the other day. I was workin', and it was sublime, especially in this day and age. I'll try and find a link.
