Howdy folks!  Haven't posted in a while so I guess it's about time for shameless self-promotion....     My buddy Devin (Nobocaster) of the Gallus Brothers passed through town recently and we got some time to pick together a bit.  Great fun.  The last tune we played together was "Prater's Blues" by Prater and Hayes.  I've never actually heard the original, so I'm sure I sound absolutely nothing like Hayes, but maybe some o' y'all might dig this anyway.     http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/artist_songs/1704115

thanks for posting that mike. the only downside of praters blues for me was it didn't last long enough, absolutely great stuff. i found time to listen to your version of buddy bolden as well which i also really enjoyed.
