Now I've been hearing somebody hollering for "Rocky Top", and I'm very sorry, the Bluegrass Boys don't do that number, but in a little while the Osborne Brothers will be up here, and they'll play it, not once, but several times - Bill Monroe at the Bean Blossom Festival in response to someone in the audience repeatedly yelling out a request for Rocky Top

"State Street Rag" Participant's Concert 2010

Me and Devin (Gallus Brothers/Crow Quill Night Owls) playing Howard Armstrong's "State Street Rag" last summer.  Wish I had a video of this...  I was too nervous at the time to ask someone to record it.  He taught me the tune just a few days before the concert.  Turned out okay, but of course I'm critical in retrospect.  Audio ain't perfect, but this is what I got.  Finally got around to editing this stuff.  Thanks to Bremerton Ken for the mp3 and thanks to Roz for the pic!

Yup.  I believe some of the wood came from the Fraulini shop.  Devin gives a brief advertisement at the beginning...  He sold it the next day.  Hope he starts building more guitars and more importantly... SELLING more guitars.  He seems to be every bit as good at luthiery as he is at pickin'!
P.S.  @Uncle Bud.... I never noticed that before, but.... Now that you mention it...
