On a more serious note (note the pun) as regards the hotel is there anyone out there who will reguire special extra vegan\veggie type food over and above what was on offer last time? If so let me know and I will warn the hotel so they can get an extra bag of nuts in.

Whilst on the subject of dining, the hotel are assuming that all those booked in will be eating there on both the Friday and Saturday night. I realise it's not quite haute cuisine and it would be nice to go out to a Chinese en mass like we did before, but on the other hand by agreeing to eat there it keeps the room rate down (certainly by New Forest rates!) and we do get the function room for free.

By the way Harvey, is The Lady Harvey still going to risk it? Brave girl if you ask me

No unfortunately, a bit of a cock up on the kids front means it is just me. So bang goes the ability to actually play anything a guitar after 9 PM.

Get that BBB number sorted as its well before 9pm on the timetable.

Extremely hard, if, like me, you haven't got a clue. I'll play the one chord I know behind Richard (preferably with me in the next room). You're all forgetting I'm only a fairly inept rhythm guitarist who can't sing. I may have to take on Bunker Hill's role of observer this year as he can't make it.

I will again, if you like, take snaps of the performances as I did last year.

So there is no escape, the chords for my epic are simply a 12 bar in C with the first chord being a G so get practicing!

I went downstairs earlier and played that (more or less) (sort of Guitar Shuffle) on fingerpicked ukulele. Are you volunteering for a duet? Go on, then I won't get lumbered with Blueshome (

). Alternatively I could play with Norfolk Slim, pretend he's my long-lost son and I'm holding back to give him a chance.

Please note thusfar I have avoided the temptation to respond with "go forth and multiply" or words to that effect...

Edit: Reading your comments again, Richard, I take that as an invitation to perform with you (ooh er missus). Wish I had a washboard...

Don't know what you mean about "strange men". I've always found Richard perfectly normal (by my standards of course).

Yes well, we don't want to know what you get up to without your uke and anyway if Harvey is there sans Lady Harvey I doubt if NS would be up to getting up to much anyway.
