Lost and Found at PT 2007
« on: August 12, 2007, 02:19:55 PM »
Now that I'm somewhat recovered from the week long houseparty, not to mention the drive back to the Bay Area, and unpacked, I find I've got one item for each column.

Found: one copy of Kim Addonizio's book of poetry, "what is this thing called love". As I was one of the last to pack up in 15 I found this, probably on the dining room table and took it with me. It is signed with an inscription, "For Marie - Yours in the blues - (heart) Kim 8/07"

Lost: my pepper grinder, about 8" tall, blond wood, I believe with a Peugot grinder. I think it was the only one around 15.

All for now.

LOL :).

"Used to grind it all night, now I can't grind my pepper no more...."

OK, so more seriously then, Wax have you tried contacting Joan? Perhaps it got mixed up with her things? She packed up under chaotic conditions if I recall correctly. Or maybe that was the year before. It's all a blur...

I mislaid my intellitouch tuner at some point. Black one, no case. I've since bought another one so no probs.

Riv, I found one on my dresser, thought it was Buzz's and handed it to him when we were packing Sunday morn. Coulda been yours. I'll check with Miller tonight and see if he has two. Oh, wait, you mean one of the long ones, not the diamond ones? Shoot. Well, Ill check my stuff again 'cause I have one of those, too, maybe one too many. (Ever notice how many times people don't write "too" and you're left asking "to where?"-G-)

I have a call in to Joan, UB.

And yeah, I've thought of a few more lines, too.

All for now.

Pepper Grinder Blues, excellent. If Bo Carter had been a denizen of our yuppified foodie times surely he would have already written it.

Yes it was one of the long tuners Wax. If anyone has two hang onto it and give it back to me next year!

What are those diamond-shaped tuners called again? I believe I asked at 3 in the morning at camp - not something I'm gonna remember. I found they worked quite nicely and want to order one.

It's an Intelli Chromatic Tuner, or an IMT-500, so you can see why I was confused.
