CRAFT RECORDINGS HONORS AMERICA’S BEDROCK GENRE WITH THE LAUNCH OF BLUESVILLE RECORDS https://bluesvillerecords.com/news/ BLUESVILLE RECORDS' ACOUSTIC SOUNDS SERIES https://bluesvillerecords.com/store/ That is great news, looking forward to releases of several blues album classics from the Bluesville label and other labels listed on the site.
A couple of more links: https://www.americanbluesscene.com/2024 ... e-records/ https://craftrecordings.com/collections/bluesville Just feels slightly odd for mine, that they've changed the Bluesville logo to something else - and that their first releases are Vanguard and Riverside LPs, rather than genuine old Bluesville titles, some of which haven't been in circulation for quite a while, and which are all worth reissuing
It's Craft = Concord , so they own Prestige/Bluesville and it's not got to do with the rights one imagines. Rather I guess, it's someone's idea of a Re-Brand. (With plenty of imagery of John Lee Hooker clutching an acoustic guitar. Hmm) Hope they get to the actual Bluesville titles in due course - I'm sure they will. Pages: [1] Go Up
