On another topic, can anyone think of another blues lyric that used the word "occupied"?

No, but maybe we could write one: "The 36,000 Fleet Airline Restroom Blues"
Or a line from a 'Progressive's' blues: I occupied Wall Street, and I still ain't satisfied
