Hello folks,
I just discovered a guitarist named Johnny Williams. Wikipedia says he was one of the first electric guitarists in Chicago. Born in Louisiana and raised with his uncle in Belzoni, Mississippi. It is said that his uncle played with Charley Patton.
Johnny Williams lost part of his fingers in a meat grinder but continued to play guitar.
This is Worried Man Blues recorded in Chicago, with Johnny Young on mandolin. I tried to write down the words, but I'm still not 100% sure.
I hope you can help me.
Thanks
WORRIED MAN BLUES
(Intro)
I'm the blues man, just as blue as a man can be.
Yes I'm the blues man, just as blue as man can be.
Now, the woman that I'm lovin', yes she's says she don't wants me.
Three o'clock in the mornin', now I have tears standin' in my eyes.
Yes three o'clock in the mornin', I had tears standin' in my eyes.
Now my baby left me, Lord I wonder the reason why.
(SOLO)
See the sun is risin', now the moon hides in the trees
Yes sun is risin', now the moon hides in the trees
Lord I'm standin' here wonderin', what in world had that woman did to me.
