Staying off topic as well...
I remember buying my first Biograph (Blake's Rumdum Blues) at Dobell's in 1970. Spent about ?95 for 14 lp's the first time and got a discount as well (I had saved up for months for the trip - quite a journey then...3 hours on a train and 3 hours on a ferryboat with half the passengers seasick).
I still recollect going through the prewar blues lp's with an oillamp as only lighting....around Christmas 1973, during the oilcrisis when London was blacked-out at 5 oclock in the afternoon.
I came back regularly until it moved to somewhere else and only sold jazz records.
