a2tom on facebook, fan base goes wild

after realizing that I have no idea what is going on with my family anymore because they now communicate mostly on facebook, I took the plunge and signed up.

In the process one sees you can create "My Band" (through ReverbNation).  It was easy so I did it and posted up a small handful of my things. In the spirit of full disclosure, I have no pretext whatsoever that I am a "band".  I put this post in Performance Corner since it seemed to go here, but I most certainly do not put myself in the category of "Pros and Aspiring Pros [Seeking] to Promote Themselves!"

If you are on facebook, send me a friend request, this is me:

Parenthetically, I think Weenie Campbell him(her?)self should get a facebook account.  Right now when you search "Weenie Campbell" all you get is a short list of people named Winnie Campbell (Weenie's wife?).

HI Tom,

There are a number of us on facebook - I signed up for the same reason - to keep up with my kids.

Good idea on WC joining, I'll look into it.  You never know, we might pick up another lost soul or two.  ;)

ok, I joined, just so folks know, my real name is Michael Taub.

Funny how in the early days of the internet we all took funny names that meant something to us.  I took Eagle Rockin Daddy from an old Big Bill Broonzy song.  It seems so 'aughts' now.....

Weenie Campbell is still the best.

Thanks for singing up Mike -- we've got 27 weenies so far.  The more I think about it the more I like it --- it gives weenies a chance to get to know each other a bit better, put a face to a nick name etc.

I put the Euroweenie 2010 event on the calendar as well.

Cheers,
slack
