Orville Johnson Online Performance
« on: April 11, 2020, 06:36:51 PM »
Some excellent country blues to be had while y'all are hunkerin' down.

First, go to http://www.buonobuzzard.com/covid-concerts/. The website is maintained by Couth-Buzzard Bookstore, which hosts jam sessions of all kinds and provides a venue for many Seattle area musicians playing folk, Celtic, country blues, acoustic jump blues, a little bit of soul music ... our kind of stuff.

During the Covid Conundrum, some of the musicians who would normally play at the bookstore are performing in front of their laptops. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to get access to Orville's latest contribution.

You can easily find a link to a virtual paypal tip jar in the text below Orville's image. I'm pretty sure the performance is also available on Facebook if you prefer.

Of the other vids posted at this link, Jim Page is a long-time local performer who writes powerful songs and backs them up with interesting and creative guitar riffs.
