An interesting article.  I wonder if the author is aware of the existence of Joe Bussard.  I realise space is limited in such an article, but a mention of Mr. Bussard would have added something.

Coincidentally I was given a book by Amanda Petrusich a couple of weeks ago and have just started reading it. It is titled "It Still Moves (Lost songs, lost highways and the search for the next American music)".
