I wanted to share these great posters i found and maybe have some light shine on these.
A couple months ago i went walking to the downtown salvation army in my town. I walked by the front window and the texas alexander poster was displayed in it I bolted in the doors and grabbed it, and found 3 more in a plastic dust cover Got all of them for just under 9 bucks
I know these aren't from way back and that paramount did these in catalogs
Anyone see these elsewhere? They are made very well of heavy card stock and very sharp text and detail
Enjoy ~D

I couldn't find any info on the internet, but I searched for the Blind Lemon Jefferson poster - which I think is very nice - and found a couple people who had one for sale. (They didn't seem to have any details about its origin.) I bought one of them. Buy first, ask questions later.
You got all for less than the one I just bought, so it indeed was a good find.

Hi Dom, I have the Blind Lemon & the Henry Thomas ones, got em about 10 years ago. They look like blown-up reprints of the original ads. Nice to have but not worth anything I'm sure.
Not worth a lot, but often reprints can have value if they themselves are otherwise not available and/or were relatively few in number. But I just think the BLJ poster looks great, and after I frame it I'll put it up next to my framed BLJ 78. Now if someone would just find all those Okeh 78s!!!!!!!!!
I bought the BLJ poster and it arrived last week. I think it's great. I don't care what it's worth. The person I bought it from (for $10) said she bought it and other blues posters at a warehouse sale in Texas. She said she would list the others, but she hasn't yet.
