The way round this is to be up front - Bob can give a short presentation with demos of the various NRP and Dave King guitars he brings. It would be informative at least, and given Bob's polished presentation style (especially after his half-pint of white lightnin), enjoyable.

Well, I for one thought that Bob's illustrated talk last year was excellent. So, I'm up for more from him.

Ooh, go on - be a devil!   >:D

It's not like we're suggesting you buy a ban..., banj..., ba... - you know, one of those things.  ;)

Well Bob, that's settled then. We could get you a stick on beard ( a la errrr...) and you could do a National History Masterclass or something... :P

Did you notice that PP was trying to stir it again?

We seem to have the making of a programme now.

Bob's presentation and demo of his wares.
The Prof has offered a workshop on Lonnie Johnson.
Bunker has offered to display and describe some of his collection of material from the 60's.
If anyone would like it, my son Mike (who runs a professional studio) has offered to make a short video presentation on techniques for recording acoustic guitars, types of mic, etc.

We should accept Mike's offer. He's a real expert in this field.

Just heard from Diamond Dac, Yorkshire's answer to the blues, to say that he's signed up at the hotel.
